About
Founded in Warsaw in 2012 by former People Can Fly co-founders Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznański, and Michał Kosieradzki, The Astronauts crafts visually stunning boutique experiences. The independent studio pioneered consumer-facing photogrammetry with The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and developed the rogue-lite shooter Witchfire. Its technical pipeline is celebrated for millimeter-accurate 3D scanned landscapes, spellbinding dark fantasy particle effects, and atmospheric lighting.
